What is a S.M.A.R.T repair?
S.M.A.R.T stands for Small to Medium Area Repair Technique. Essentially it's an alternative to taking your car to a bodyshop for minor damage. Using S.M.A.R.T techniques we can repair things like bumper scuffs, scratches, stone chips and even vandal damage such as keyed panels, all outside your home or work place with minimal fuss or disruption to your life. Most repairs will be completed within a few hours so there's no need to lose your car for 3 days while it's in a bodyshop. The vast majority of our S.M.A.R.T repairs work out cheaper than the excess on your insurance and importantly you won't lose your No Claims Bonus. For those smaller paintwork repairs we can usually carry out the work for a fraction of the cost of a bodyshop with no compromising on quality.

Providing you with a quality repair is of utmost importance to us. We are so confident in our experience, our techniques and the products which we use that we guarantee all of our paintwork repairs for as long as you own the vehicle. (Guarantee only applies to panels which have existing original manufacturer's paintwork prior to our repair)
Does the weather affect our ability to work outside?
We can work in all but the most extreme weather conditions. Our mobile repair shelter provides good coverage to allow us to continue to work outside come rain or shine. High winds are our biggest enemy but we always stay in contact with our customers to make sure that there are no unexpected last minute cancellations.
How it works
We ask all customers to send us as many photos of the damage as possible so we can give you an accurate quotation. You can send the photos to 07976 384793 via text or WhatsApp. Alternatively you can email them to adwsmartrepairs@gmail.com
We will then take a good look at the pictures you've provided and get back to you with a free no obligation quote. If you are happy to go ahead with the repair we can then discuss a day, a time and a location that suits you. All we require to carry out our repair is access to power (somewhere to plug an extension lead in) and an area off the road, such as a driveway or car parking space, where we can get our fully equipped van near your car.
Is a S.M.A.R.T repair a permanent repair?
Our work process and the carefully selected high end products which we use to achieve our finished repairs are exactly the same as those used in a full bodyshop environment. The only difference is we repair smaller sized damages and we carry out the work outside your home.
Colour matching
Our Spies Hecker Permahyd water based paint system is regarded as being an industry leading product and is approved by more vehicle manufacturers than any other paint producer in the world. We have full access to the Spies Hecker colour database wherever we are in the country via a mobile phone app so we can mix any paint for any vehicle at any time.
Lease returns
If you have a car on lease then you'll probably know that if you hand your car back at the end of your term with any kind of damage, you'll be hit with a very hefty fee by the lease company. We can arrange to repair any damage you might have picked up along the way before you hand the car back, at a fraction of the cost that the lease company would charge you. We can carry out these repairs just before your hand over date so there's no chance of an unexpected bill.
